This year’s European Heritage Days are dedicated to fashion. We invite you to the “Fashionable and Practical” event, during which Anna Moryto (Museum of the History of Costume in Poznań) will lead a curator-guided tour of the exhibition “From White to Black: Wedding and Mourning Attire in the 19th and 20th Centuries,” and Agnieszka Małaszko will lead a workshop on making fascinators. Although the clothing exhibition has been on display at our museum for some time now, we assure you that it still holds many secrets that only a true expert can reveal to you. And there’s no one better than Anna Moryto—a history enthusiast and owner of a vast collection of 19th-century garments. You’ll learn just how fascinating the world of fascinators is during the workshop led by Agnieszka Małaszko. With scissors and a needle in hand, you’ll work alongside her to create extraordinary headpieces. Tikofi will ensure that event participants enjoy their tour and the hands-on activities—you won’t find coffee and sweets like theirs anywhere else. We guarantee that once you taste them, you’ll be coming back for more! For our youngest guests, we invite you to participate in the museum’s mystery game, “What Happened to the Bride?” While the fascinator-making workshops are in session, children will be engaged in uncovering the mystery of the missing bride by tracking down clues scattered throughout the “From White to Black” exhibition. Contrary to appearances, our offer isn’t just for women—after all, the groom also walks down the aisle, and the exhibition features several pieces of men’s clothing. And the fascinator workshops? There’s no better fun than creating a fascinator shaped like… an Audi. The only limit is the participants’ imagination. We invite you to join us!
