"Hansel and Gretel on the Trail" in Western Pomerania. The Home Detectives Show

We cordially invite teachers, educators, psychologists, and anyone interested in effective alcohol prevention and supporting the development of children and adolescents to a unique conference dedicated to the Home Detectives Program. The Home Detectives Program (PDD) is a proven, scientifically grounded prevention program for children and adolescents. Its goal is to delay the onset of alcohol use and strengthen protective factors in young people’s environments. During the training, participants will learn about the program’s principles, which are based on recognized psychological theories, and discover how to effectively support young people in making healthy and responsible decisions. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of parents, teachers, and peer leaders in shaping the attitudes and behaviors of young people. The training introduces practical strategies, such as developing parenting skills, peer education, strengthening life skills, and fostering attitudes that discourage alcohol use. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to carry out prevention activities at school and in the local community. The training will be led by: Dr. Agnieszka Pisarska—psychologist and assistant professor at the “Pro-M” Youth Prevention Laboratory of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. Author and co-author of numerous scientific and popular science publications, and co-author of prevention programs. Member of the Team for Recommendations and Evaluation of Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Programs. Specialist at the National Bureau for Drug Prevention and the State Agency for Solving Alcohol-Related Problems. Anna Borucka – psychologist, author and co-author of school prevention programs, such as the “Home Detectives” Program, “Fantastic Possibilities,” and “School-Based Prevention Intervention,” as well as over 100 scientific and popular science publications on epidemiology and protective/risk factors related to adolescents’ use of psychoactive substances, and the prevention of risky behaviors among children and adolescents. We cordially invite you to join us!
