A VIRTUAL GUIDE TO THE SLAVIC AND VIKING CENTER

The Wolin Virtual Guide is a modern educational and tourist mobile app available for download from the Google Play Store or the App Store, which helps visitors explore the open-air museum in an interesting and interactive way. It guides users through the settlement’s most important sites, such as cottages, craft workshops, the marina, and places of worship. Once you select a route, the app displays a map of the site and suggests an order for your tour. Each stop features short descriptions, photos, audio recordings, and interesting facts about the daily lives of the Slavs and Vikings: their clothing, food, trade, beliefs, and warfare. After finishing the tour, you can test your knowledge in a quiz and become an honorary citizen of Wolin. The app’s goal is to combine learning with fun and to make it easier to explore the Slavic and Viking Center on your own.
