49th National Recitation Competition "In the Face of One's Own Time"

There are places to which one returns not only for awards, but above all for the encounters, conversations, and emotions that arise between the lines. For nearly half a century, Wałcz has been such a place. It is therefore with great joy that we invite you to the 49th National Recitation Art Competition “In the Face of One’s Own Time,” which will take place November 6–8, 2026, at the Wałcz Cultural Center. This is a gathering of people who believe that literature not only describes the world but also helps us face our own time—with courage, sensitivity, and our own voice. The event is partnered with Western Pomerania. #pomorzezachodnie #kulturastyka
