  • Organizer (name of institution or first and last name): Powiatowa Stacja Sanitarno – Epidemiologiczna w Gryficach
In connection with the event scheduled for October 10, 2026, dedicated to prevention and raising awareness about the early detection of breast and prostate cancer, we cordially invite you to actively participate in this health-promoting event—which is both educational and preventive event titled “Pink Town with a Mustache,” which will be organized with the support of the medical community at the Gryfice Cultural Center and on Victory Square in Gryfice. The event will conclude with a “March for Health” through the streets of Gryfice. The main goal of our initiative is health education in the broadest sense and the promotion of cancer prevention, with a particular focus on breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. These cancers represent one of the greatest challenges facing modern medicine and public health in Poland. By organizing this event, we aim to reach the residents of the Gryfice County and raise awareness of the crucial role that early diagnosis and regular checkups play in saving lives. The program includes, among other things, lectures by medical specialists, workshops on breast and testicular self-examination using phantoms, and counseling at information booths on healthy lifestyles. Admission to the entire event is free and open to all residents.
