Student Culture Weekend 2026
November 5–7, 2026 | Szczecin
Three days, dozens of events, and many places worth discovering. The Student Culture Weekend was created to encourage students to actively participate in cultural life, explore Szczecin, meet new people, and try something new.
Have you been studying in Szczecin for a few weeks? Or maybe you already know the city, but haven’t yet visited its theaters, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions? This event is for you.
Would you like to go behind the scenes at a theater or the opera? See a performance? Discover areas of the Pomeranian Library that aren’t normally open to the public? Or maybe you’ll choose an exhibition for 1 or 4 zł, a student game at the Maritime Science Center, theater workshops, a film and discussion about Szczecin, a “repair café,” or evening events and free nighttime fun at Pinokio?
The program includes, among other things:
• theater performances and events,
• free behind-the-scenes tours,
• contemporary art exhibitions,
• museums with special student rates,
• workshops and creative activities,
• cinema, films, and discussions,
• concerts, DJ sets, and evening events,
• activities available without registration and events with limited seating.
Some events are free, while others are available at special student rates. At select venues, a valid student ID is all you need. Advance registration is required for events with limited capacity.
The project is co-organized by: the Contemporary Theater in Szczecin, the Polish Theater in Szczecin, the Pleciuga Puppet Theater, the Pinokio Student Culture Center, the Kana Theater Center, Opera at the Castle, TRAFO Art Station, the Pomeranian Library, the Maritime Science Center, the National Museum in Szczecin, the Museum of Technology and Transportation, the Pionier 1907 Cinema, the Stara Rzeźnia Euroregion Cultural Center, INKU / Media Dizajn, the 13 Muz Cultural Center, the Słowianin Cultural Center, the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, and the Klub Skolwin Cultural Center.
Szczecin’s universities are also involved in the implementation and promotion of the project: the University of Szczecin, the West Pomeranian University of Technology, the Pomeranian Medical University, and the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin.
You don’t need to know anything about theater, art, or museums. Choose what sounds interesting, invite your friends, and start discovering cultural Szczecin on your own terms.
