Scena Art Cafe – STACHURA Twenty Years Later

Another edition of the Stargard Art Manufactory is just around the corner. We invite you to a unique, intimate poetic and musical performance, in which Sted’s words will resonate anew nearly twenty years after the premiere, which took place on the stage of the Art Cafe’s Piwnica Artystyczna. The program will feature the poet’s most notable works, including “Life Is Not a Theater,” “You’ll See,” “The Ravens Won’t Peck Us,” and “The Fog Has Lifted, a New Day Dawns.” Wojtek S. Makowski—a figure well known to Stargard’s audience and the local cultural community—is responsible for the artistic vision, the carefully crafted structure, and the direction of this event. Thanks to his experience, creative sensibility, and excellent knowledge of Stachura’s poetry, the concert reveals to the audience a very intimate and emotional dimension of the poet’s work—one filled with nostalgia and wonder at the world. Wojtek Makowski’s original script by Wojtek Makowski precisely weaves together Stachura’s verses to create an exclusive performance intended only for those seeking extraordinary art. Let’s come together to pause for a moment and immerse ourselves in a world where—as Stachura wrote—EVERYTHING IS POETRY. Singers: Krzysztof Gładysz, Piotr Dolata, Jakub Zajączkowski Performers: Alex Marek, Maciej Szeliga, Janusz “Kanapa” Jędrzejewski, Marcin Rakowski, Bartek Janczak Script: Wojtek S. Makowski Directed by: C. Gładysz Stargard Art Manufactory is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Stargard.
