The barracks in Trzebiatów were built between 1895 and 1901. The complex consists of: the commander’s villa, four barracks buildings, a gymnasium (now a chapel), a drill hall (now a gymnasium), a military hospital (now a soldiers’ mess hall), a cafeteria, an armory, a school building (now headquarters), an officers’ mess hall, and a stable. The historic barracks are currently occupied by the military, so the buildings (including the commander’s villa) can only be viewed from the outside.
