Just before turning into the village streets, next to the municipal office building, we’ll find an eclectic post office building from the first half of the 20th century. The building was most likely constructed as a residential structure. Its architecture is identical to that of the equally historic villa at 4 Grunwaldzka Street.
The post office in Widuchowa is a two-story building; in the central part of the main facade, there is a double-leaf entrance. The wooden elements supporting the roof are impressive, and their extensions can be seen on the building’s facade. The corners of the building feature rusticated detailing. The decorative elements adorning the building are also noteworthy—including the distinctive frames around the windows.
The post office building in Widuchów was added to the list of historic monuments slightly later than its twin at 4 Grunwaldzka Street, in November 1993.
