The 700th Anniversary Boulder

In 1986, a commemorative plaque bearing the inscription “700 Years of Czaplinek, 1286–1986” was placed on a glacial erratic boulder standing in Czaplinek’s town square. A few years later,it was designated a natural monument pursuant to Regulation No. 7/92 of the Koszalin Province Governor, dated September 8, 1992.
