Multikino cinema is in the city center, at Wyzwolenia at the Galaxy Shopping Center. You can get there by numerous trams and buses stopping at the nearby Rodła Square. They are trams no. 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and buses no. 57, 58, 59, 70, 107. The Galaxy Shopping Center has its own parking lot (payable for each hour).
Multikino was established in 2004 on the top floor of the Galaxy Shopping Center. It is equipped with 9 rooms of various capacities. The largest of them has 486 seats. The total number of seats for viewers is 2,145. Multikino is one of over 30 cinemas in Poland with this brand, and at the same time one of the most popular cinemas in Szczecin. The brand was created in 1998 as a joint venture between ITI and UCI. In 2008, the company merged with its biggest competitor, Silver Screen. In 2013, the operator Vue Entertainment bought 100% of the shares in the cinema from the owners. The investment cost EUR 48 million. All screenings of the latest films and selected 3D screenings are held at Multikino. This is made possible by, among others, modern Barco projectors. In Multikino there is a catering point where you can order snacks and drinks. Apart from the Polish market, the company operates in Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Taiwan. Multikino is a partner of the largest cinema festivals in Poland.
