Myślibórz was granted county status in 1816. As the number of officials grew, it became necessary to construct a new administrative building. The new county office building was erected at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a two-story structure with a deep basement and a usable attic. The facade is dominated by the windows of the county council chamber. The building currently houses the Myślibórz Registry Office and a bank; therefore, public access to the interior is limited. The county office is currently located in a building constructed after World War II at 22 Spokojna Street.
