Pomerania is an area well-suited for the construction of micro-power plants that harness the energy of falling water. One such micro-power plant was built in 1990 in Pustkowo near Radomyśl. An old, former German mill was repurposed for its construction. It is a red-brick building located on the Parsęta River waterway. Thanks to the practical use of the river’s natural resources, the old mill has been saved from destruction. The small power plant generates 240 kW per day, or about 10 kW per hour.
It is a privately owned facility and can be viewed from the outside.
