Municipal Cemetery

Within the municipal cemetery in Szczecinek, there is a war cemetery. The monument located there symbolizes the breach of the Pomeranian Wall’s defensive ring. The war graves are the final resting place of 4,429 Soviet soldiers and 39 Polish soldiers. Within the Szczecinek municipal cemetery, there is also a memorial to American airmen who were shot down over Wilcze Laski in 1944.
