• Address: Mielno

Lake Mielno is quite large, with an area of 56.7 ha. It is a reservoir of average depth, reaching a maximum of 5 m, but there are places where depths of up to 10 m have been recorded.

The dimensions of the entire lake are 1.4 km x 1 km, while the water surface is located at an altitude of over 77 m above sea level. The shoreline is calm, without excessive unevenness or breaks. It is covered with typical coastal vegetation.

It is a pike-perch type lake according to fishing typology. This means that it is moderately deep, the bottom is quite muddy, the water is not clear, and often even cloudy. In addition, aquatic vegetation is very developed, further limiting the transparency of the water.

The Ukleja River flows through the lake, connecting it with Lake Woświn.

Mielno is a real paradise for tourists. It is an ideal place for various water sports - swimming, water sports, fishing. It is worth noting that the extensive coastal infrastructure makes this very easy. Tourists can freely walk, sunbathe, and admire the beauty of nature from a wooden pier that was built on one of the shores. The pier is equipped with small seats.

In the Łobez County, in the municipality of Radowo Małe, there is a second lake called Mielno, but it is much smaller and not as important for the region's ecosystem.
