The villa was built by the Germans in the 1930s. While they were stationed in Borne Sulinowo, many high-ranking commanders of the Third Reich’s armed forces stayed in this building. One of them was Heinz Wilhelm Guderian, who, among other things, commanded the ground forces’ attack on Poland in 1939 during the September Campaign. After the end of World War II, the building served as a kindergarten for Russian children whose parents were stationed in Borne Sulinowo at the time. As the name suggests, only the ruins of the building remain, but it is worth noting the front door, above which some decorative elements have been preserved.
