The palace in Sarnik was built in 1898. It was commissioned by the Wedel family, who owned the village at the time. In its heyday, the palace was a grand, stately building featuring Renaissance and Baroque elements. The palace remained in use until the1950s, after which it fell into ruin. The ruins are located within a large park featuring historic trees. The park also contains the remains of a garden fountain. It is currently privately owned.
