• Address: A. Grottgera 8, 76-100 Sławno

The building is covered by a gable roof. Of particular note is the false front projection—that is, a section of the building that protrudes, along with the roof, beyond the building’s facade along its entire height. This type of projection was achieved by increasing the thickness of the masonry. The building’s interior layout was not altered by this architectural feature. It is also worth taking a closer look at the windows above the entrance door. There are four windows here with small panes, the upper part of which is set in a separate frame—a so-called transom. They are filled with a decoration resembling a stained-glass window. The building on Grottgera Street is one of the few examples of typical late 19th-century urban architecture. It used to house a school. Today, it serves as a residential building, and its historic character is also highlighted by a blue sign hanging on it, indicating that the building is a protected historic site.
