• Address: plac Gałczyńskiego, 70-410 Szczecin

The Monument to the Enchanted Carriage is unusual, because it is devoted to the work of the poet - Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, and not to his character. Its form refers to the most famous poem by the artist who stayed in Szczecin in 1948-49. It shows the title vehicle with a quill hovering over it. It was designed by Stanisław Biżek. It is made of copper sheet and set on stones. They refer to the cobbled roads on which horse-drawn carriages used to travel. The structure weighs about 200 kg and measures just over 2 meters. The sculpture was unveiled in 1997. It is in the Gałczyńskiego Park.
