Monument to RAF pilots

The monument to RAF pilots stands where the British RAF Dambusters Squadron bomber fell. It took place on April 16, 1945. Originally, this is where the bomber crew members were buried, their ashes were later transported to Poznan and buried in the Commonwealth of Nations cemetery, in graves bearing their names. The monument bears the Lancaster serial number - NG288.
