    The Pleciuga Puppet Theatre is located in Szczecin, at 1 Teatralny Square. Nearby, there is a bus stop on Wąska Street, while a tram stop is on Rayskiego Street.

Founded in 1953, the puppetry uses various types of puppet techniques. The repertoire includes both large spectacles and smaller, more intimate performances.

The Pleciuga Puppet Theatre is a municipal cultural institution that for more than half a century (since 1953) incessantly and resiliently have been operating in Szczecin. The Pleciuga has a wide range of repertoire for its small and big customers. Among the performances for children, there are big shows e.g. 'Pippi Longstocking', 'The Tinderbox', as well as small ones such as 'Frederick the Starling', 'Thumbelina', the staging of which requires a variety of puppetry techniques. Performances for children (and adults) are played in different parts of the theatre: in a large room, chamber hall, at the theatre lobby or on the backstage scenes.
