Myśliborskie Wielkie Lake belongs to the catchment area of Myśliborka River and it constitutes the largest fresh water lake in the Nowe Warpno municipality. At the lake there are two villages: Myślibórz Wielki – in the east and Myślibórz Mały – in the north. In Poland its surface area is 53.6 ha and it is located in the Nowe Warpno municipality, in Police County, while the other part in Germany is located in the Meklemburgia land - West Pomerania in the Vorpommern – Greifswald County. The border line goes directly across the lake. Myśliborskie Wielkie Lake is a water reservoir, the maximum depth of which is approx. 2.8 m. It is characterized by a muddy bottom, average transparency and rich vegetation emerging on its surface. Around the lake the area is rather marshy and its shores do not favour fishing or sightseeing, which does not mean that the lake is inaccessible. The lake is not a bathing area. If you wish to go fishing, the best way is to go by boat, and from this perspective you can also admire the surroundings of the lake. However on the shore there are also places available for fishermen, you just need to look for them well. In the lake there are various types of fish, such as pike, perch and tench, as well as crucian carp, bream and roach. In order to get on the lake with a pontoon, the best location to launch is between Myśliborskie Wielkie Lake and Myśliborskie Małe Lake.
