The building in Chojna at 2 Roosevelta Street was constructed around 1900. It was designed on a rectangular plan. The building has three stories—including a usable attic—and a full basement. The entire structure is covered by a gable roof. The main facade of the post office is symmetrical, and the entrance is located on the right side.
The building features minimal ornamentation—during its modernization, the lower section was clad with stone-style panels, and the window openings were highlighted. In the upper section, at the attic level, the structural framework was exposed to serve a decorative function. Some of the window frames have been replaced. The lower part of the building houses the post office, while the upper floors contain private apartments.
The Chojna Post Office was added to the provincial list of historic monuments in November 1993.
