Farmstead Complex

The history of Strąpie dates back to the 15th century, when it was part of the estate in Dzików. In the 18th century, the estate was owned by the von Küssow family, while in the first half of the 19th century it belonged to Major von Lebbin. He was the founder of the manor house and the park. The next owners of Strąpie were the Wöller family, under whose stewardship the estate underwent rapid development. The village was integrated with the entire estate, and its residents were employed there. Among other things, horses, cattle, and pigs were raised here. To this day, the village features a well-preserved, spatially organized manor complex with a clear layout consisting of the manor house, the park, and farm buildings. All these elements are listed in the register of historic monuments.

The farmyard is oriented along a meridian and occupies the eastern part of the former estate. The complex forms a quadrangle, widened in the southern section. The farm buildings were constructed of red brick. The buildings display a mix of architectural styles, though Neo-Gothic elements predominate.  The farm complex includes:

- a livestock building with an octagonal tower housing a dovecote, built in the fourth quarter of the 19th century and located in the western part,

- a distillery from 1893, located in the northern section,

- a livestock and storage building, built in the fourth quarter of the 19th century, located in the eastern section,

- a sheepfold from 1889, located in the eastern section,

- a residential and utility building, built in the early 20th century, located in the southern section.

The farm buildings, like the manor house, are accessible from the outside.

The manor and palace complex in Strapi is the largest and best-preserved structure of its kind in the Myślibórz County. It forms a cohesive whole in terms of function, space, and composition.
