Street pump

The pump was installed here in 2013 as part of the project “Tourism Development of the Raduń Lake Waterfront in Wałcz.” It was one of the city’s investments commemorating the 710th anniversary of the town’s incorporation. The project was carried out by Maxi-Star, a company from Oborniki. It is a simple metal pump that operates like a faucet rather than a traditional pump—it lacks the handle typically found on such devices for pumping water and instead features a lever to operate it. Traditionally, however, at the water outlet, at the base of the pump, there is a hexagonal water basin. The square where the pump was installed is adorned with geometrically arranged multicolored cobblestones.
