The ruins of a church in Moczyły are located on a small elevation surrounded by a low stone wall with stone steps situated from the street. The church, built of brick and erratic stones, was erected as an aisleless building with a rectangular plan in the second half of the 13th century. In the 17th century, the church was comprehensively rebuilt. Up to this day, only a fragment of the southern portal has survived. In the eastern façade, there are traces of three window openings, from which the central one has been completely preserved. Also, a brick-framed portal can be found in the western façade. From the inside, there are three polychromed consecration crosses in the eastern wall, showing that the church was consecrated. The building was damaged during the Second World War, and, abandoned, started to fall in disrepair. The church used to be surrounded by a cemetery, after which there is virtually no trace this day. Among the vegetation, there is a considerably large tombstone and several stone fragments, which might likely have been the elements of tombstone, are scattered in the area. The remnants of the church and the cemetery have been properly marked. In front of the wall, in the street, there is an informational panel describing the history of this place and the church in Polish and German.
