The former building of the School for the Deaf and Mute

The building was constructed in 1904. It is an impressive structure in the Neo-Gothic style. It is a two-story building with a usable attic, covered by a gable roof with dormers. The front facade features a projection. Of particular note is the entrance portal with a column supporting a small balcony. The windows on the first story are topped with a gentle arch, while those on the second story are topped with pointed arches. The building wasfunded by Martin Quistorp. It is the former site of an institution for the deaf and mute, which currently houses a middle school. The building is listed on the register of historic monuments.
