Church Cemetery

The cemetery was established in 1812. The first cemetery was located next to St. Nicholas Church, but in the second half of the 18th century, the cliff crept so close that the crumbling soil began to expose the graves in the churchyard. This necessitated the establishment of a new cemetery and, somewhat later, in 1874, the construction of a second church. Currently, the gravestones in the cemetery have become worn away.
