The Municipal Swimming Pool in Koszalin is located near an amphitheatre at the junction of Jedności and Głowackiego Streets, nearby a park. In order to reach the complex, one has to turn left into Jedności Street, driving from Zwycięstwa Street towards Polanów, and then turn right in Głowackiego Street. In front of the building, there is a parking lot for about 30 cars.

The Municipal Swimming Pool is a swimming pool complex, which consists of a 25-metre-long sports swimming pool, a recreational swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and a mini-pool for children. The first indoor sports swimming pool was opened in 1966. Later, as the effect of the expansion of the complex in 1981, a small paddling pool was built.

The complex functions as a recreation and sports centre; it also aqua-aerobics classes and swimming lessons.

The sports swimming pool is used by a swimming section of the MKS Znicz sports club.

The swimming pool complex is a place where swimming competitions as well as other cultural and sports events are organized.
