Concert shell

The concert shell in the Fryderyk Chopin urban park is a site of many concerts and open-air cultural events organized in Drawsko Pomorskie. The structure has a beautiful location amongst the greenery of the park. In the vicinity there is a playground and sports facilities: Orlik 2012 pitch and municipal tennis courts. The concert shell comprises a one-storey building which houses dressing rooms, social area, a storage room for equipment, and a large covered stage. The construction of the roof above the stage enables installation of stage lighting equipment. There is also room for sound equipment on both sides of the stage. In front of the concert shell there is a vast square with benches for spectators. During big events, such as Dni Ziemi Drawskiej [the Days of Drawsko Land], harvest festivals or Artystyczna Majówka [May Day Picnic with Arts] there are food booths, sales and promotional stands in the square. The facility is owned by the Drawsko Pomorskie Commune and it is used by the cultural centre.
