The monument in Laski dedicated to the memory of those who fell in World War I was erected in 1924. It commemorates the sacrifices made by the German population living in the area at that time. It once stood in the very center of the village. It was crafted from natural stone by local artisans. Its design is unusual. The monument, shaped like a truncated pyramid with a base in the form of an isosceles cross, stands on a small, round pedestal. A Latin cross is placed at the top of the monument. The plaque that was once attached to one of the obelisk’s arms has not survived.
