Heron

Herons have a characteristic black supercilium and are similar in size to storks. Their diet includes mainly fish and amphibians; herons can be exceptionally patient hunters. They nest in tree tops in the vicinity of water reservoirs. Heron communities can often be found on islands or in old tree stands.
