"Amber Fountain"

During the opening of the new Sparkasse branch in Ribnitz-Damgarten, the idea arose to install a water feature in the inner courtyard. An interesting idea for a financial institution - panta rhei - everything flows. The norddesign team agreed that a reason to linger might be something to read.
"We weren't just looking for a text, but also for a reference to amber. We found what we were looking for in a Baltic fairytale book. A wondrous bird guards a legendary amber ring and this ring protects the people's entire treasure trove of fairy tales. Good overcomes evil... Finally, a sea fairy reveals the magic... If you put the ring under your tongue, the fairy tales just gush out. This parable seemed appropriate to us" - Andreas Dietzel-.
