Locals and guests can also take the examination for a lifetime fishing license during a fishing license course.

Our association was founded in 1927. We are a registered non-profit association and have been an independent member of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Angling Association and the German Angling Association (DASV) since 01.01.2002.

As at 31.12.2020, our club had 264 members, 25 of whom were girls and women. The average age as at 31.12.2020 was 46 years.

Our association is open to all citizens who are interested in fishing as a leisure activity and feel connected to nature and environmental protection and landscape conservation. Our aim is to further develop and promote the most fundamental interest of an angler, catching fish, as a meaningful leisure activity while taking into account and respecting the interests of nature and environmental protection and landscape conservation.

With the public harbor and fishing festivals, which have been held annually since 2002, we offer a special event to the residents and guests of our town in addition to our fishing friends and are delighted with the positive and great response.
