A total of 14 different stations along the designated hiking trails provide additional information about the nature reserve and its special animal and plant species as well as the history of settlement and current land use in the region via smartphone. Visitors are also advised to behave correctly in order to preserve the valuable nature and landscape.
The Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve Office developed the audio guide in cooperation with the Mönchgut health resort administration and other local stakeholders and realized it in collaboration with Kathleen Aust as part of the Interreg project "CEETO - Central Europe Eco-Tourism: tools for nature protection". The service is designed to guide visitors to the Zicker Berge nature reserve.
To use the audio guide, you need the IZI Travel app. It is available free of charge for IOS and Andriod.
