Adlerhorst viewing platform

The nest, also known as the "eyrie", is only vaguely visible to the naked eye. We are in the territory that is inhabited by pairs of white-tailed eagles all year round. The eyrie, which is used for several years, can weigh around 600 kg and reach a diameter of up to 2.50 m.

The viewing platform was funded by the "European Regional Development Fund" (ERDF) of the program for the development of economic infrastructure to improve the regional economic structure in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" to promote tourism in the municipality of Göhren-Lebbin / Landes Förder Institut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
