Observation tower on the Prangenberg

72 steps, over four floors, 30m² platform. Since 2003, it has been located on the Prangenberg, which is already 44 meters above sea level and therefore offers a beautiful view in itself. Extensive hiking and cycling trails around Tessin lead into the Recknitz valley and into the charming countryside to the Wolfsberger Mühle mill, the Gramstorfer Berge nature reserve and via the district of Vilz to the Vilzer Berge, which are a good 50 meters high. The course of the Recknitz itself can be explored adventurously with a variety of offers. Not only can you relax on a canoe, but with a bit of luck you can also spot rare animals such as otters, dormice, lesser spotted eagles and cranes.
