The Ivenack oaks near Stavenhagen - Germany's first National Natural Monument - are among the tallest oaks in Europe with trunks measuring more than 14 meters in circumference. On the treetop path, which runs at a height of 20 meters, visitors can encounter the thousand-year-old oaks at "eye level". The highlight of the treetop walk is the 40-metre-high observation tower. From the viewing platform, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the landscapes of Mecklenburg Switzerland and the lake district. The disabled-friendly hiking trail through all the tree growth zones has a total length of 620 meters.

Old breeds of domestic pigs, fallow deer and wild horses can also be seen in the game reserve at the Ivenack oaks.
