The Mill Gate, also known as the Stralsund Gate, in Tribsees is one of the two remaining gates of the fortifications that surrounded the town. Built in the 13th century, the town gate was rebuilt after a major fire (1702) with some structural changes. The gate owes its name to a watermill that was located in the immediate vicinity until the 19th century.
