The Pädagogium zu Putbus was a grammar school with an alumni school founded in 1836 in Putbus on the island of Rügen. Located directly on the Putbus Circus in a neoclassical building that helped shape the townscape, the school was first a royal, and from 1919 onwards a state educational institution of excellent reputation. The local population referred to it as Pädschen, and the students called themselves Pädschler. In 1941, it was converted into a national political educational institution. From 1946 to 1975, teachers were trained here before the building became a special education facility for the hearing impaired until 2000. From 2002 to 2014, the building housed a higher vocational school for computer science, the IT College Putbus.
