It is certainly one of the most spectacular and unusual excursion destinations in Usedom - the largest submarine museum in the world. Among other things, you can see a Russian Juliett-class submarine with the identification U-461, which was in service for many years. At the same time, insights are given into the everyday life of a military submarine and the events of the Cold War. The submarine was put into service in 1965 and was mainly used in the Baltic Sea and the North Atlantic until it was decommissioned after the collapse of the USSR and came to Peenemünde via detours.
