The church was built of fieldstone and brick in 1601. The tower, constructed of wooden framework in 1665, was boarded up. The church was damaged during World War II and then left unused for a long time. It was rebuilt in 1994-1995. The church was consecrated on August 28, 1995. It belongs to the Parish of Our Lady of Candlemas in Mosty. Next to the church, there is a metal belfry with a bell funded by Stanisław Gajdel.

There are only a few gravestones in the church cemetery. Since 1989, the cemetery has been on the list of historical monuments.
