Stone Circles in Pławno

Cemetery with stone circles in Pławno is associated with the Wielbark culture and the presence of the Goths in Pomerania. The site dates from the late 1st century to the first decades of the 3rd century AD. Its distinctive features include three stone circles measuring 26.5 m, 22 m and 19 m in diameter, as well as burial mounds. It is one of the few surviving sites of this type in Pomerania and an interesting trace of the region’s history.
