Leopold Tyrmand, author of the novel *Zły*, visited Darłowo several times, and events from his novel *Siedem dalekich rejsów* took place within the town. The novel was adapted into the film *Naprawdę wczoraj*. Each stop along the Leopold Tyrmand tourist trail features a sculpture related to the artist or Darłowo’s connection to the novel *Seven Far-Off Voyages* and the film *Really Yesterday*.
