The church is in the northern part of Szczecin, near a hospital. National road No. 13 is nearby.

The building that belongs to the parish today was built for the Protestant community on the wave of the celebration of the 400th anniversary of Martin Luther's birth. On June 15, 1883, a committee named after him was established, which began efforts to erect a temple. The cornerstone was built on November 10, 1890, and three years later - on April 1, 1893 - an independent, Evangelical community named after Martin Luther. The House of God was consecrated by the superintendent, Pastor Poetter, on September 15, 1893. The Church was taken over by Catholics and the Catholic parish of St. Joseph Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary on October 20, 1946. The first parish priest is then Rev. Edward Świst, who also takes care of the branch church in Broniszewo. In the 1970s, the building was renovated, and its partial reconstruction was possible thanks to the efforts of the parish priest Tadeusz Jaśkiewicz.

The space of the church is bright due to the whitewashed walls and stained-glass windows. The most important element is a colorful chancel with stars and a stained-glass window that represents the Holy Family.

Indulgence: March 19, May 1.
