The first mentions of Dębogóra date back to the second half of the 14th century. The village is home to the ruins of a manor house (listed as a historic monument), which is surrounded by a landscape park established in 1821.
The park covers an area of 13.2 hectares. In the 20th century, the park was expanded to include a forested area. In this romantic park, you’ll find two ponds connected by a cascade and many interesting trees. Noteworthy trees include English oaks with circumferences of approximately 540 cm, 530 cm, 580 cm, 430 cm, 420 cm, and 360 cm; a purple-leaved European beech with a circumference of 325 cm; a swamp cypress with a circumference of 280 cm, an edible chestnut with a circumference of 210 cm, a ginkgo biloba with a circumference of 180 cm, and two American tulip trees with circumferences of 250 and 235 cm.
In this 19th-century landscape park, you’ll also find beautiful linden tree avenues and other impressive old-growth trees. The manor park in Dębogóra was added to the provincial list of historic monuments in February 1995.
