Events "My Korea" - opening of Agnieszka Golab's photography exhibition

On May 16, the Children and Youth Zone will invite you to a trip to the Far East. The Stargard artist and traveler will share memories from her photographic escapade to South Korea. Visiting the country's largest metropolises with a camera in hand allowed her to capture a land of contrasts. Side by side, in a certain harmony that is elusive for Westerners, tradition and modernity function there. Agnieszka Golab (born 1986) - passionate about travel, landscape, urban and portrait photography. Participant of the Photography Studio of the Stargard Cultural Center, where she hones her craft. To her credit, she has participated in group exhibitions and art projects. Her photos decorate occasional calendars: "The Second Life of Amazons. Women - Women to Women" for 2023 and the official Stargard City Calendar for 2024. Agnieszka Golab successfully finds herself on both sides of the lens, but in her work she focuses primarily on photography. "My Korea" is her debut fully-authored project, which is the fruit of a solo trip to South Korea in April 2023. Currently, the artist is developing in new fields, including drone photography, and planning further voyages to distant parts of the world.
