Meeting with Joanna Jax [Literary Menu].

On May 28 (Tuesday) at 6:00 pm, we will welcome Joanna Jax, an author specializing in historical novels, to the library. The conversation on a wide range of topics on top of literature, will be led by Joanna Skonieczna. The meeting will be interpreted into PJM sign language by Maja Kaminska-Kolota, and admission is free. The author's books will be available for purchase during the meeting. Joanna Jax (Joanna Jakubczak) - lives in Olsztyn. In addition to writing novels, she paints on glass using a unique layering technique, is passionate about biographical literature and graphic design. She also does copywriting and volunteers at the Foundation for Compatriots supporting Poles in Kazakhstan. She made her debut in 2014 with "Legacy of the von Becks," which delighted reviewers and readers alike. Subsequent novels: "The Long Road Home" (2015) and "The Stigma of the von Becks" (2016) cemented Joanna Jax's status as a writer. Fans of her work enthusiastically welcomed the book "The Nun's Son" (2018),as well as the novel series - six volumes of "Revenge and Forgiveness" (2018) and the trilogies "Before Tomorrow Comes" (2018, 2019), "Truth Written in Ashes" (2019, 2020) and "The Counterfeiter's Daughter" (2020). In 2022, the final volume of the tetralogy "Ghosts of Years Past" will be published. Winner of the laurel - the Literary Award of Warmia and Mazury for 2016 (readers' prize). Partners: ????
