• Address: Wapnica

Sand Mountain is a viewpoint with steep slopes located at the southern end of Turquoise Lake. Today's terrain was formed as a result of the exploitation of the chalk deposits found here. It overlooks the beautiful landscapes of the Wolin National Park. From here you can admire, above all, the emerald waters of the lake and the buildings of Wapnica. Further on, we can see the picturesque Trzciągowska Valley, extending towards the Szczecin Lagoon. To the north is a range of hills of Mount Vyshnica and Lake Wicko Male. With good visibility, you can also see a fragment of the Swina backwater delta.
