Bartek Rabbit in Downtown Gardens | Support: Tragars

On June 2, Bartek Królik - an acclaimed producer, composer and bassist - will perform on the Downtown Gardens stage. ????He has worked with most of the domestic scene, laying the groundwork for the Polish release of soul and r'n'b music. After the Fryderyk-nominated solo album "Mr. from Music" and the critically acclaimed project "Spoken Love," he is directing our attention to other musical areas. This time he creates a Suite for dark times. With short vocal mantras he wants to warm up lonely souls, and with baroque house and nu disco, dance floors. Seamlessly transitioning one into the other, the songs are arranged in "Opus Dance." The concerts are heralded as a strong dose of dance and release, played live with a full lineup of top instrumentalists. ???? Tragarze, a project consisting of Szczecin musicians playing a mix of hip-hop, funky and reggae, will perform as support. The leaders of the band are Chillu and Przemek Kazaniecki. Accompanying them on their creative retro journey are Pelo and DJ Twister. Tragarze have played dozens of concerts, in front of artists such as Gentleman, Grubson, Łona and The Pimps, and Łąki Łan. They led a concert at the 12th anniversary of Kabaret Moralnego Niepokoju and at the finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Frankfurt am Main, and were participants at the Naturalnie Mazury festival.The reflective lyrics on the latest album, "Keep in Cover," in preparation for 2019, have been enriched with quotes from cult movies and TV series from the 1970s and 1980s. In addition, the retro feel of the album is highlighted by music recorded with old-school instruments, including a '78 Galanti X360 organ and an out-of-production '73 Fender Rhodes MK I model.
